After attending Shepherd College (now Shepherd University) in Shepherdstown, WV for her undergraduate work, Jane Laura Doyle went to the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, Georgia. There she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1989.
She completed a certification course in veterinary acupuncture given by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1991. During 1989–91, she attended several seminars in veterinary homeopathy given by Richard Pitcairn, DVM, PhD, before the creation of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy. Dr. Doyle completed the course in veterinary homeopathy given by the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy in 1994. She was a speaker at the annual conference of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy in Portland, Oregon in 2012.
While not working as a veterinarian, Dr. Doyle enjoys camping, canoeing, pyrotechnics and traveling.
